A Firm with a History of More Than 60 Years Of Legal Excellence

When Marcus Kondritzer, Baron Gold and Jerome Frank formed this firm in 1958, they started more than just a law firm. They started a tradition. From the beginning, our firm, now called Crowley, Ahlers & Roth, has focused on providing quality representation combined with personalized service in the areas of Social Security Disability, workers’ compensation and personal injury.  The firm in recent years expanded its practice to include representation in both short and long-term disability cases. Our efforts and our clients’ successes over the years have earned us a stellar reputation for offering top-notch legal services to the injured and disabled in the Greater Cincinnati and Tri-State areas.

Work with an Experienced Lawyer

The firm is now owned and operated by Attorney Edward C. Ahlers, his partners, James Crowley, IV and Neil Roth, having both retired in 2023.  When you work with our firm, you will know that Mr. Ahlers is personally handling your case, Mr. Ahlers is very “hands on” and detail oriented and he will in fact be the person taking your case forward, as he has never felt comfortable with handing his cases off to an associate or paralegal.  When you call or visit our office, you will speak directly to Mr. Ahlers or to his assistant, Barbara Wright.

A Firm Focused on Disability Claims

This law firm, originally Kondritzer Gold & Frank and later Crowley, Ahlers & Roth, started first by representing injured workers in Ohio workers’ compensation claims and personal injury claims.  Mr. Ahlers practiced for well over 35 years in both areas of law before deciding to concentrate his practice in the last few years just on Social Security disability and short and long-term disability insurance claims.  Although no longer actively handling workers’ compensation claims or personal injury claims, Mr. Ahlers remains available for consultations with these two types of claims and works closely with the firm of Nager Romaine & Schneiberg (https://www.NRSinjurylaw.com) on workers’ compensation matters and also works with other attorneys and firms on personal injury and medical negligence claims by referral.

Contact us for Dedicated Legal Representation

The process to obtain either Social Security disability insurance benefits or short or long-term disability insurance benefits, or both, can be very challenging and difficult, especially when you are hurt or sick.  The Social Security Administration denies a very high percentage of initial disability applications.  The insurance companies which market and sell group short and long-term disability plans and policies to employers like to take in the premium payments but don’t like to pay out benefits.  Mr. Ahlers has many years of experience handling these claims and works very hard to ensure that his clients receive all of the benefits that they are due.  Unlike many other attorneys, Mr. Ahlers will often go the extra mile if either Social Security or the insurance company deny the claim all the way through the administrative process.  Rather than take “No” for an answer, Mr. Ahlers has over the years continued to fight for his clients by often filing suit against both the Social Security Administration and the large national disability insurance companies in federal court, where he has been very successful.  Contact Mr. Ahlers for a free consultation about your Social Security disability or long-term disability claims by calling 513-621-1652.
